Kentuckians pay final respects to former Gov. Martha Layne Collins, reflect on her legacy

FRANKFORT, Ky. (FOX 56) — Nearly four decades after redefining what leadership in Kentucky could look like, people braved the cold and wind, waiting in line to pay their final respects to former Gov. Martha Layne Collins as she lay in state at Old State Capitol in Frankfort.

Collins was a woman mourners said left a legacy that’s not just political, but one that’s also personal.
