MONTGOMERY – Several North Alabama organizations that serve victims of domestic violence will share $700,000 in grants, Gov. Kay Ivey announced.
“Domestic violence is a destructive force that tears apart families and damages communities,” Ivey said. “I applaud these nonprofit groups for providing safe haven and compassionate care to people in a time of crisis as they take steps toward recovery.”
