ESTILL COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — Millers Creek Fire Rescue (MCFR) received a call Sunday morning from one of their own who ended up passing away.
Millers Creek Fire Rescue posted on social media around 5 p.m. on Nov. 9 that Dustin “Duck” Miller had called for help, and after his fellow crew members did everything they could, he’d been “called home.”
“Duck” was a founding member of MCFR, officials said. He was remembered as someone his team could count on to be there for them.

“He always gave 110 percent, and it all came from his heart. No one ever had a bad word to say about Duck because he always treated everyone with respect and tried to mend any broken ends,” the crew said.
