Sights & Sounds: Texas Tech’s Celebration of What’s To Come, Not What They’ve Reached

With ESPN College GameDay in town for the first time in 17 years and a Top Ten opportunity in front of the nation, No. 9 Texas Tech delivered a 29–7 statement over No. 8 BYU that validated every tent, every hour of sleep not had and every ounce of community poured into the week. The Red Raiders controlled this game from start to finish and now they once again have control of their own path in the Big 12 race.

While some were talking about this game as the end of a marathon, the tone from the team was more that it was the start of a new expectation. The celebration of a new beginning not the culmination.
