Madison man arrested after driving away from attempted traffic stop

MONONA, Wis. — A Madison man was arrested early Monday morning after police said he drove away from an attempted traffic stop along the Beltline.

Monona Police Chief Brian Chaney said the suspect previously drove away from the Sun Prairie Police Department earlier in the day.
