More information has been revealed after Durante Tolliver, a Georgia father, allegedly fired 12 rounds, killing his son, now identified as Durante Schofield, in Buckhead.

More Information Revealed On The Incident Surrounding Durante Schofield In Buckhead
According to WSB-TV, on Friday, October 31, the outlet learned that before the fatal shooting on October 30, Durante Schofield had crashed his vehicle into the side of a building. Subsequently, Scholfield called his girlfriend, who reportedly works for APD, asking for help. His girlfriend, who has not been publicly identified, allegedly made an anonymous tip about the accident. Then, she reportedly drove Schofield to their apartment at Pharr.
Once there, per the girlfriend, Schofield became “belligerent and damaged her apartment” after she asked him to return his keys and leave.

At that point, the girlfriend allegedly called the police, who arrived and interviewed her. In addition, she also called Schofield’s father, who arrived at the same time as the police and left the apartment with his son. Per the outlet, this, after Schofield and Tolliver had briefly argued.
Once the pair made it to the parking lot, they allegedly began arguing again. Law & Crime reports that Tolliver also became angered after his son slammed his car door. Per WSB-TV, additionally, Tolliver “believed his son reached toward his waistband as if he had a gun.” Therefore, Tolliver shot him 12 times…
