Driver charged with aggravated DWI after crash in Romulus

Deputies arrested a man after his car veered off the road and into a ditch along Route 96 in Romulus.

Cameron Bowers, 37, of Syracuse was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after the crash around 6 p.m. on Friday, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said Bowers was involved in a single-vehicle crash near West Blaine Road. He later took a breath test, which showed a blood alcohol level of 0.20% — more than twice the legal limit…
