United Steelworkers on strike against Libbey have endorsed an offer that is now pending ratification by the union’s membership, the company said.
The proposed agreements, according to a statement from Libbey, would include 24 percent wage increases over the contract period, a one-time $3,000 payment, “meaningful” overtime and premium pay, and “minimal” increases to health care costs.
