The husband-and-wife team behind The Jollof Bowl say the concept was born from months of research into what types of restaurants succeed in modern dining spaces. Their idea: pair authentic African cuisine with the convenience and customization of a quick-service model. The result is a sleek, colorful stall where guests can craft their own bowl or wrap, starting at $15.99, choosing from bases like jollof rice or noodles, proteins such as grilled chicken, shrimp, or roasted goat, and sauces including pepper, suya aioli, and groundnut BBQ.
