CSPD: Seven arrested during burglary call at home

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said on Monday morning, Nov. 10, officers were called to a burglary at a home and arrested seven people.

According to CSPD, on Monday at around 7 a.m., officers were called to the 3000 block of East Bijou Street near East Platte Avenue and North Circle Drive about a burglary in progress. When police arrived, they saw two people get out of a white Ford Bronco and enter the home that officers had been called to. The Bronco was determined to be stolen, according to CSPD.

Police set up containment and, with the help of the Tactical Enforcement Unit (TEU), K9, and the drone unit, provided verbal commands for those in the home to leave. A number of people left, and officers arrested five people on outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants, and one firearm was recovered…
