Columbus police work to keep unhoused warm with temperatures set to drop

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — The Columbus Police Department is working to make sure those stuck out in the cold know what their options are Monday.

The Community Police Unit is distributing blankets and other cold-weather necessities to the city’s homeless population as temperatures plunge.
