Tucson restaurant uses AI robots to serve customers

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A new Tucson restaurant is using AI robots to serve customers, bringing science fiction concepts into reality at Bag-O-Crab.

The restaurant features robotic cats named Thelma and Louise that roam the dining room, delivering food to tables. The robots serve as back servers, assisting human staff rather than replacing them.

“We’re utilizing AI robots; she’s a back server basically. Her name is Thelma. She’s the third arm of our service,” said Brett Rucker, Tucson Bag-O-Crab general manager.
