‘He just came at me,’ charging documents reveal altercation led to deadly Huffman area shooting

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Charging documents reveal what police believe led up to a deadly shooting in Anchorage over the weekend. According to the documents, an altercation between two men began in the parking lot after a youth soccer event at Fox Hollow Golf Course & Sports Dome.

The documents say 36-year-old Luke Simonson shot and killed 45-year-old Timothy Grosdidier. According to the charging documents, an off-duty officer who was in the area heard the gunshots and approached the area of the shooting, which was in front of a black 2025 Chevy Silverado.

The officer said he saw Simonson holding a gun, and Grosdidier lying in front of the car with multiple gunshot wounds. Simonson gave the officer the weapon and despite attempted life-saving measures, Grosdidier died at the scene. As Simonson was being transported for questioning, police say he stated, “he just came at me.”…
