Twenty people, three with major injuries, were taken to San Bernardino County area hospitals on Sunday night after a bus overturned at a curve on Highway 330 near Fredalba south of Running Springs, the San Bernardino County Fire Department stated on X.
According to officials, crews arrived before 9 p.m. to the scene on Sunday, Nov. 9. There were 36 people — adults and teenagers traveling on the bus from a camp in the San Bernardino Mountains near Angelus Oaks back home to Orange County.
The San Bernardino County Fire Department declared it a multiple-casualty incident because of the number of resources deployed.
