In Knoxville, the Eternal Life Harvest Center is opening its doors as a warming center before the planned start date of Dec. 1. The center has two tentative locations at 2410 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. or 1801 Western Ave.
Additionally, Knox Area Rescue Ministries has also instituted “white flag” or “red flag” measures, temporarily increasing its capacity to keep people warm and indoors.
