LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A group of Lansing area churches, food pantries, and nonprofits are joining together to host a food drive as part of this year’s Silver Bells in the City celebration, set to take place next Friday, Nov. 21.
Organizers say they chose to put together the drive due to recent events regarding SNAP funding, and that donations from the drive will help stock food pantries throughout the capital area.
