PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (TCN) — A late-night argument about chickens led to shots being fired outside a bar last week.
Officers with the Port St. Lucie Police Department arrived at a pub after the alleged shooter called 911 to say what he had done, WPBF News reports. The suspect, Peter Riera, 44, had fired four rounds from a .45-caliber Glock at three other bar patrons when their argument became heated, police said.
“There was a conversation about how many, I kid you not, how many eggs a chicken can lay. And that conversation got a little heated, and as it went out into the parking lot, the conversation continued, and the shooter became agitated, became paranoid,” WSB-TV reports that Sgt. Dominick Mesiti said…
