SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Veteran homelessness has reportedly reduced by 85% since 2021 in Savannah, the Interagency Council on Homelessness for Chatham-Savannah (ICH) announced Monday.
“An 85% reduction in veteran homelessness didn’t happen by chance—it happened through intentional collaboration, data-driven strategies, and an unwavering belief that homelessness is solvable,” Chair of the ICH Jennifer Davenport said. “The Interagency Council on Homelessness is proud to collaborate with CSAH, the City of Savannah and all our members as we seek to expand these proven solutions to reach every population in need of housing and support.”
