The Keiser Athletic Department announced this week’s Seahawks Athletes of the Week on Monday. This week’s winners, Elisha Edwards and Satori Griffin, were recognized for their standout performances during the week of Nov. 9.
- Led Keiser’s offense in a 34-23 win over No. 14 Southeastern on Nov. 8.
- Recorded 113 yards on seven receptions with one touchdown.
- Marked his third 100-yard receiving game of the season and fourth game with a touchdown.
- Hauled in several clutch catches, including a 13-yard touchdown from Shea Spencer to cut SEU’s lead to three late in the second quarter.
- Helped Keiser total 448 yards of offense, the most Southeastern has allowed all season.
- Leads the conference in:
- Receptions: 44
- Receiving Yards: 627
- Receiving Yards per Game: 78.4
- Game Stats vs. Southeastern:
- 7 receptions, 113 yards (16.1 avg), 1 touchdown, long of 32 yards
- The award marks the first of Griffin’s Keiser career
- Averaged 20.0 points per game across two contests
- Shot 50% from the field and 42.9% from three-point range overall
- Had a standout 30-point performance in an 84–43 win over Fort Lauderdale
- In that game, shot 11-of-18 from the field and 7-of-12 from beyond the arc
Both Elisha and Satori will now be in the running for the Keiser Athlete of the Month (November) award in December.
