AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Salvation Army of Amarillo is seeking volunteers for its Red Kettle campaign and Angel Tree program.
“Volunteering makes such a big impact on so many lives during the holidays,” said Major Tex Ellis of The Salvation Army in Amarillo. “Whether you can spare an hour, a morning, or a full day, share the gift of your time and Give with Joy to those who need it most. You can ring the bell at a kettle on your own, with your family, or bring a whole group—it’s a wonderful way to serve together.”
Officials with the Salvation Army of Amarillo noted that those interested in volunteering as a bell ringer may do so online or by contacting Wendy Lara at 806-373-6631 or [email protected]. The volunteering dates for bell ringers are Nov. 10 through Dec. 23, Monday through Saturday.
