LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The families of the 27 campers and counselors killed in the catastrophic July 4th floods have filed a lawsuit against Camp Mystic.
In the “Heaven’s 27” filing, the group claims that the camp’s owners knowingly endangered the lives of their campers and counselors in exchange for profit.
The families accuse the camp’s owners and operators of knowing the dangers of the Guadalupe River and still keeping cabins within the river’s flood plain.
