Days Inn standoff: Felix Delarosa receives 72-month federal prison sentence

LUBBOCK, Texas–Felix Delarosa, 40, was sentenced to 72 months in federal prison for a standoff at Days Inn Motel that took place November 2024.

Felix Delarosa previously pled guilty to one countof Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm following his indictment.

EverythingLubbock.com reported previously that Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) special agents were trying to find Delarosa, who had an outstanding parole violation warrant. Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) SWAT team was assisting.
