SLPS outlines plans to re-open schools impacted by May tornado

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Public Schools (SLPS) is implementing a comprehensive reopening plan for campuses damaged by the EF-3 tornado that struck in May.

The district’s Chief Operations Officer, Square Watson, has outlined a detailed plan to repair and reopen schools affected by the tornado, with Beaumont High School, which suffered significant damage, expected to complete repairs by late November and reopen by Dec. 12.
