CREEK COUNTY – Witness Describes ‘Jarring’ Scene
James Loar, who was on his way to Tulsa for a gun show, says the crash unfolded just seconds behind him.
“There wasn’t a whole lot of time for anybody to react,” Loar said. “One of the bigger semi-trucks came back over the hill and just didn’t have time to brake. Another semi veered off the road and overturned. Probably six cars were involved total.”
Loar says he and others immediately jumped in to help. He helped pull a semi driver and his young son from their overturned truck before emergency crews arrived.
