Cumberland County, North Carolina, and the City of Fayetteville will open several facilities as warming centers during the week of November 10, 2025. This is in response to expected below-freezing temperatures. The facilities include the Department of Social Services, Department of Public Health, all eight public library branches, the Fayetteville Area System of Transit (FAST) lobby, Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks and Recreation centers, and The Salvation Army of the Sandhills.
On Tuesday, November 11, county and city offices will be closed for Veterans Day. Recreation centers will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Most warming centers will return to regular hours on Wednesday, November 12.
