2 men detained at gunpoint by off-duty cop in Clovis

CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Two men in Clovis were detained at gunpoint by an off-duty police officer Tuesday morning, according to the Clovis Police  Department.

Officials with the Clovis Police Department say around 6:30 a.m., they received a 911 call from a home in the 3200 block of Robinwood Avenue near Dewolf and Barstow avenues.

The caller said two men were looking into parked cars and going into the backyards of homes. As officers were responding, an off-duty police officer who lived nearby detained both suspects at gunpoint…
