On October 29, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a moped theft on US Hwy 311 in Archdale, North Carolina. The next day, the Criminal Interdiction Team recovered the stolen moped on Elmont Street in Trinity.
Authorities identified Travis Michael Wood, 29, as a suspect. He was charged with felony larceny and felony possession of stolen goods.
