TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— With all the snow that came recently, road conditions became slippery for the first time during this fall/winter season. Local law enforcement and the Indiana State Police had several slide-offs reported.
Sgt. Matt Ames with the Indiana State Police wants to remind everyone during these slippery road conditions that people should reduce their speed while driving, making sure your headlights and taillights are visible for other drivers to see, and making sure your phone is put down and drivers are not distracted while driving as black ice can form on the roadways along with snow on the roads can cause very slick road conditions.
Sgt. Ames also wants to remind people of something very important to the driver’s safety, along with the safety of other drivers around them…
