BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — A bicyclist was killed Tuesday morning in a crash near a middle school in Battle Creek, according to the district superintendent. The bicyclist was not a student at the school.
It happened outside Lakeview Middle School, located at S. 28th Street and W. Columbia Avenue.
“This morning, there was a tragic accident involving a bicyclist in front of Lakeview Middle School during arrival time,” Lakeview School District Superintendent William Patterson wrote in a letter to families, which the district provided to News 8. “We were saddened to learn that the bicyclist did not survive.”…
