Man pleads guilty to impersonating a federal officer

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – A Madison County man pleaded guilty to impersonating a federal officer, according to the Lexington Herald-Leader.

The paper says court documents show Roderick Tejeda, 55, was charged Oct. 30 after contacting L&W Outfitters, claiming to be a Department of Homeland Security agent.

He wanted to modify his car with red and blue lights, a siren, speaker, console, antenna and keyless entry. The L&W Outfitters employee told Tejeda they needed credentials to make the changes.
