LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Businesses around the UPS plane crash site remain closed, leaving many people in the community temporarily out of work. One local restaurant is stepping up to help by offering jobs to those affected.
Mike Smith is the general manager at Stooges Bar and Grill. He says the last few days have been difficult since the crash happened just outside the restaurant.
“It’s been pretty hard on us,” Smith said. “It was just devastating. Unbelievable, you know? It was 100 yards from our back patio.”…
