On November 8, 2025, more than 400 residents gathered at Estero Community Park to recognize veterans, active military, first responders, and Gold Star families. District 5 Councilmember Rafael Lopez gave a welcome, and the Estero JROTC presented the colors. Mayor Joanne Ribble introduced local councilmembers and dignitaries. Mark Sanders served as master of ceremonies and performed patriotic songs with the Estero High School Band.
Florida Representative and US Army Veteran Mike Giallombardo gave the keynote address. Attendees viewed a classic car show and military vehicle displays. The New Horizons Choir and Southwest Florida Children’s Choir performed.
