A 38-year-old man died while incarcerated in Pennsylvania, officials announced on Monday, Nov. 10.
The man was brought into the Allegheny County Jail on Oct. 1 on harassment charges, and while in custody, was sentenced for two protection-from-abuse violations, according to Warden Trevor Wingard.
A medical emergency was called at approximately 10:01 a.m. Monday after staff found the man unresponsive, the warden said. Jail personnel immediately began performing lifesaving measures until paramedics arrived at 10:22 a.m. He was pronounced dead at 10:38 a.m., officials said…
