Spanish-language media reports alleged shootings directed at Border Patrol, under investigation

Two alleged incidents of shots being fired at U.S. Border Patrol agents from Juárez are under investigation, Spanish-language media on both sides of the border are reporting.

Univision reports that public security officials from Juárez stated that the shootings occurred on Thursday, Nov. 6, as a group of people attempted to cross the border illegally. The Mexican army, the National Guard and Juárez municipal police all respond to the shootings.

Individuals were detained on the U.S. side of the border, while Mexican authorities executed a search warrant for a house where individuals allegedly hid following the shooting, Univision reports…
