When police in Milwaukee asked for help finding relatives of a lost child, they could never have imagined what they’d soon learn. The little boy, who police believe is nonverbal, was found wandering without socks or shoes around 4 a.m. on November 5, 2025. Hours later, a woman called 911 to report finding the body of 31-year-old Anya Raymond. Relatives claim the lost child is Raymond’s son.
WISN reported that police attempted to identify the little boy after finding him near North 9th Street and Keefe Avenue on the north side of Milwaukee. Around 9 a.m., Rosetta Lampkin-Johnson reportedly found Raymond’s body in an alley near 41st Street and Hampton Avenue. She told WISN she had no idea who the woman was.
