Free pet care clinic for homeless, low-income Portlanders open Tuesday

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Pet owners experiencing homelessness now have a way to take care of their animal’s important veterinary needs.

The Oregon Humane Society is teaming up with Blanchet House in downtown Portland to offer free vaccinations, flea and tick treatment, pet food, leashes, collars, and more to those who are unable to afford care for their pets.

Veterinarian Dr. Robert Mack will also provide additional care to pets who need it or refer them to low-income pet hospitals…
