Fort Wayne food pantries reflect on government shutdown’s impact

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Hoosiers who receive SNAP benefits started receiving partial payments, a sign that an end to the government shutdown could be coming soon.

But that doesn’t mean an immediate end to food insecurity for some people. Staff at food banks in Fort Wayne say the government shutdown has put a strain on their resources.
