GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A portion of US-131 south of Big Rapids has been dedicated in honor of a U.S. Army soldier who was killed in the line of duty nearly 20 years ago.
Sgt. Matthew Webber, originally from Stanwood, was injured when an improvised explosive device detonated in Iraq in 2006. He died about 5.5 months later.
