Dr. Ben Brown medical malpractice lawsuit on track to begin in December

With the medical malpractice lawsuit of Gulf Breeze plastic surgeon Dr. Ben Brown less than a month away, attorneys for both sides met Nov. 7 with Circuit Court Judge Stephen Pitre to sort through a list of defense motions in preparation.

By the time the Zoom meeting got started the attorneys, Michael Kehoe, representing Brown, and Adrian Bridges, representing plaintiff Wendy Carden, had negotiated compromises to most of the 13 motions originally made, and arguments from either side focused primarily on three remaining points of contention.

The lawsuit, filed in Escambia County, seeks damages in excess of $30,000 from Brown, Baptist Hospital, Restore Plastic Surgery, North Florida Surgeons, North Florida Surgeons Pensacola Plastic Surgery…
