ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Hermitage Roanoke, a senior living community in Roanoke, Va. honored on Veterans Day 12 veterans residents representing multiple branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. The celebration featured a performance by Second Chances Duo, the vocal group of Bob and Libbie Colia, along with refreshments and remarks from community members. The veterans recognized were Richard Ratliff, Terry Shockley, Peter Mortlock, Don Helms, Bill Neal, Rick Cregger, Frank Ewald, Jack McGinn, Tom Rotenberry, Martin Shindler, John Boenke, and Stanley Butcher.
