Plans for new chain grocery store in Onondaga County are moving ahead, mayor says

Fayetteville, NY – The proposal to open a new chain supermarket in Fayetteville is still alive and moving forward, said Mayor Michael Small.

It’s been six years since plans for a new grocery store were proposed for 547 E. Genesee St., site of the former O’Brien & Gere engineering and manufacturing facility.
