State Fair of Louisiana 2025: Event highlights last week

SHREVEPORT, La.– The State Fair of Louisiana is entering its final week. The final day will be Sunday.

The fair is closed on Monday and Tuesday and will reopen this Wednesday. The hours of operation are from 11 a.m until 9 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, the hours are 11 a.m. until 10 p.m.

Discounts this week:

  • On weekdays, gate admission is free until 3 p.m.
  • Wednesday is a weekday discount day
  • (Adult admission is $8.50 and children ages 3 – 12, admission is $4.50)
  • Thursday is Family Discount Day
  • (One adult admission is $8.50 which includes one free child admission). Each additional child is $4.50. Carnival ride armbands are only $28.
  • Every day of the fair, free parking is available.

  • La Actualidad Nortena – 6:45 p.m.
  • Control – 8 p.m.

  • Gospel Mega Fest – 11 a.m.
  • Military and Veteran Appreciation Day Parade – 2 p.m.
  • Faith at the Fair (Word of God Ministries) – 4 p.m.
