St. Luke’s to be out of network for Humana Medicare Advantage members in 2026

BOISE, Idaho — Patients covered by Humana Medicare Advantage plans at St. Luke’s Health System hospitals will no longer be covered in network starting in January 2026, according to the insurance company.

A spokesperson for Humana said impacted members will be notified before changes go into effect next year. The insurance company is still in network at other hospitals, including Treasure Valley Hospital in Boise and Saint Alphonsus.

Saint Alphonsus was added back to Humana’s network of partners in November after being dropped by the insurance company earlier in the year. The hospital is owned by Michigan-based Trinity Health, which has nationwide locations…
