HONOLULU (KHON2) – Jaron Keawe-Sagapolutele, a former Campbell High School standout, earned several national honors after his strong Week 11 performance for Cal.
The true freshman quarterback helped the Golden Bears upset No. 14 Louisville in a 29 to 26 overtime win.

Sagapolutele threw the game-winning touchdown to Jacob De Jesus on fourth and goal. He also finished the night with a career-best stat line. He went 30-of-47 passing for 323 yards, including two touchdowns.
After Week 11, he was selected and later named the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback of the Week. Sagapolutele was also chosen as one of the Manning Award Stars of the Week. On top of that, he earned the ACC Rookie of the Week and ACC Quarterback of the Week honors.
