Second suspect charged in deadly shooting of Pittsfield teen

PITTSFIELD, MASS. (WNYT) – The second suspect police said was involved in the deadly shooting of a 17-year-old in Pittsfield has been charged with murder.

Sergio Ponce, 17, will be arraigned in Central Berkshire District Court on Wednesday afternoon. Ponce is accused of killing Brodie Slonski on Oct. 26. Slonski was shot in the chest while sitting inside a car on Franco Terrace. He then crashed into a tree.

Jaequan Spratling, 18, was arrested last week and charged with murder and attempted armed robbery…
