County Councilmember says she was ‘grabbed’ by ICE agent as she filmed apparent arrest

Montgomery County Councilmember Kristin Mink said Tuesday she was “grabbed” by a man Monday morning as she tried to film what she believed to be an immigration enforcement action in Prince George’s County.

Mink (D-Dist. 5) posted a video of the interaction to her social media page Tuesday. In the video, a group of at least five people can be seen gathering in the parking lot of Tick Tock Liquors on University Boulevard East just south of Mink’s council district.

“I came around the corner and saw the vests and realized that I was witnessing what appeared to be an ICE arrest,” Mink told Bethesda Today in a phone interview…
