MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WKRC) – The Garver Family Farm in Middletown, a near-century-old establishment, is grappling with an uncertain future due to a zoning dispute with Butler County.
The farm, run by Michael Garver and his wife, recently opened a farm-to-table market and winery, which the county claims violates zoning laws by operating a commercial kitchen, bar, and coffee shop in an agricultural district. Additionally, the farm stand was cited for selling non-agricultural items not produced on the farm.
