(WJET/WFXP)– Former Millcreek and Des Moines superintendent Ian Roberts’ trial has been pushed back to the spring of next year.
According to court documents, Roberts’ defense filed a motion to continue his case on Tuesday, November 10, to move the trial up by 70 days, saying they will need more time to prepare.
Assistant US Attorney Mackenzie Tubbs agreed, and the new jury trial date has been set for March 2, 2026, and was initially set for December 1. He’s pleaded not guilty to all charges and will have until February 2, 2026, to enter another plea…
