YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY)– Crews in York County responded to a house fire Tuesday night.
According to officials, fire crews were called to the 100 block of Low Ridge Road just before 10 p.m. for the report of a residential fire. When crews arrived, they found smoke coming from the home. Upon entry, crews located fire in the kitchen and quickly extinguished it.
The single occupant safely evacuated the home prior to firefighters arrival.
Crews ventilated the home to clear the remaining smoke. The occupant was able to return to their home once ventilation was complete…
