MONESSEN, Pa. — A 16-year-old boy was shot in the head while sitting in a car near the intersection of Rostraver Street and Linden Avenue just after 4 p.m. Tuesday, according to our CBS affiliate KDKA.
The teen was conscious and alert after the shooting and was flown by medical helicopter to UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh. Two other individuals were in the car at the time but were not injured.
Police said a suspect was seen fleeing the area on foot. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing…
